One of my favorite things about photographing families is watching children open up over the course of a session.  As cute as babies are, interacting with kids in the sweet spot of 5-10 can sometimes be the most fun.  They're inquisitive and have distinct personalities, and once I'm able to hone into something they're interested in, love asking questions and telling me about themselves.  This gem of a park in Richardson with its tree-lined trails, rocky walls, and hidden clearings were a perfect match for these two energetic girls.  We ran, climbed, and the oldest even skateboarded!  A squirrel chase ended in a few scrapes for the youngest, but luckily it was the end of the session, and she toughed it out for a few more photos.  I had such a fun time with this beautiful family.
